Man Stabbed And Robbed After Casino Visit

The Yorkton RCMP say a man from the city was attacked and robbed shortly after leaving the Painted Hand Casino last night.

 

The incident took place on 2nd Avenue North at around 10:40 p.m.

 

The 45-year-old victim was on foot when he was apparently jumped, stabbed and robbed.

 

It’s not known how many assailants were involved in this incident.

 

The man was robbed of his ID and his cell phone.

 

The victim was taken to the Yorkton Regional Health Centre and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

 

No charges have been laid let, and the matter remains under investigation.
