Man Killed, Woman Injured In Pelican Narrows

A 40-year-old man is dead and a 28-year-old woman has been severely injured in an incident in Pelican Narrows over the weekend.

The RCMP say they were called out to a local residence shortly after noon Saturday, and found the two victims there.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to the Flin Flon hospital and then to Saskatoon for treatment.

The Mounties say the severity of her injuries are not known at this time.

The RCMP are calling it a homicide, but haven’t released any more details.
