Man Killed While Hunting In Province’s North

A hunting accident in the Sandy Bay area has claimed the life of a 38-year-old man from Pelican Narrows.
The RCMP say the victim was killed Saturday morning while hunting with three other people, and died at the scene.
According to the Mounties, it appears a firearm was involved.
An investigation is being conducted by the Sandy Bay RCMP and the RCMP’s Saskatoon-based Major Crimes Unit.
The man’s name has not been released.
