A single vehicle rollover on a back road between the Sturgeon Lake and Little Red River reserves has claimed the life of a 23-year-old Christopher Lake man.

The unidentified man was one of four people in a car that flipped and rolled on a road known locally as the Second Meridian Road at around 2:30 yesterday afternoon.

The victim is believed to have been the driver, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other passengers were a man and a woman from Sturgeon Lake and another man from Prince Albert, but they were not seriously hurt.

The investigation is continuing, and at this point, no charges have been laid.

The RCMP say road conditions may have been a factor in the crash.
