The RCMP say a man struck in an apparent hit-and-run 20 kms north of Regina early this morning is possibly of First Nations ancestry.
They also say he’s between 30 and 50 years of age, but they don’t know his identity yet.
The Mounties say they responded to a report of a man walking on Highway 6 at around 2:15 this morning — and when they arrived, they found him dead on the southbound lane.
The RCMP are still looking for the vehicle that hit him, and say it’s possible that the driver did not realize it was a person they struck.
Anyone who knows anything about this incident is asked to call their nearest police office or Crime Stoppers.
