Man Freezes To Death In Buffalo Narrows

A La Loche man has been found frozen to death in a nearby community.

Police say the 31-year-old had been asked to leave a home in Buffalo Narrows, around 6:15 Sunday morning.

Local residents say the man had been kicked out of a house party, and was not wearing a jacket.

The man’s frozen body was found early Sunday afternoon on a footpath in the northern village.

The weather at the time was six degrees below zero, with wind and blowing snow.

The RCMP are continuing their investigation.
