Man Dies Following Street Fight In Ile-a-la-Crosse

A street fight in Ile-a-la-Crosse over the weekend has resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man.

The RCMP says the unidentified victim was attacked Saturday morning.

He was taken to the local hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy has been ordered.

A 19-year-old local resident has been arrested.

The accused in the case is making a court appearance in Meadow Lake today on a charge of second-degree murder.
