A 36-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows has been arrested after allegedly assaulting three men with bear spray over the weekend.
The Mounties say the man entered a residence in the community on Saturday evening and then proceeding to spray the victims.
The three men were rushed to the local clinic where they were treated for their injuries.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court today to face three counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, breach of an undertaking, and mischief.
The RCMP say the accused is also facing similar charges in Beauval.
Mounties are reminding the public that carrying or using bear spray without authorization — and using it for anything other than its intended purpose, is a criminal offence punishable by up to five years in jail.
