The Metis Nation – Saskatchewan is working to set up a new board of directors for the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc.

The old MACSI board was dissolved a few years ago in the wake of the 2004 MN-S election scandal.

MN-S area director Darlene McKay will oversee the process of selecting a new board.

McKay says she will be sharing information with the provincial government in an effort to keep it abreast of the situation.

Since February of 2004, MACSI has been overseen by an interim board appointed by the province.
