Lukewarm Interest In Ile-a-la-Crosse Reserve Bid

An Ile-a-la-Crosse man is trying to form a new reserve.

Casey Jones says there are almost 400 treaty people living in the community, and says they need to have representation because they face problems every day.

Jones is hoping to get around 150 signatures from people who are interested.

So far he has nine.

He is holding another meeting in a week.

Jones says he may eventually approach treaty citizens in person to see if they are interested.
