Long-Time Northern Priest Passes Away

A number of Roman Catholics in northern Saskatchewan are mourning the death of a long-time priest.

Father Germain Turcotte died last Thursday in Saskatoon.

He served the parishes in Ile-a-la-Crosse and Southend for many years.

The funeral is scheduled for tomorrow at 1:00 pm in Ile-a-la-Crosse.

Tomorrow would have been his 92nd birthday.
