Local Residents Warned About Snowmobile Thefts

La Ronge RCMP are opting to warn the general public about the impending possibility of snowmobile thefts in the community.
On Dec. 10th, the RCMP received their first report of a stolen snowmobile, which prompted a reminder to residents to keep a watchful eye on their machines.
In past winters, there have been a high number of snowmobile thefts in the La Ronge area, which, many times, have resulted in damaged or a total loss of the machines.
Anyone seeing suspicious activity close to or near any snowmobiles is urged to contact the La Ronge RCMP at 425-6730 immediately.
