LLRIB Supermarket Officially Opened

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band celebrated the grand opening of its new, on-reserve supermarket in La Ronge earlier this week.

An official ribbon cutting was held Wednesday morning.

The Keethanow Food Supermarket has been in operation since early December.

It cost the band 1.3 million dollars to establish the business.

It provides employment for 15 band members — 10 of whom have full-time positions at the store.
