The chief of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band says a reserve community that’s been rocked by a child porn case will get all the help it needs.
Hall Lake has been turned upside down following the arrest of a local man a few weeks ago.
22-year-old James Stanley Roberts is facing a number of charges, including producing child pornography.
Chief Harry Cook admits you don’t often hear of child porn being produced on a reserve, and says the case has definitely shaken the local community.
Cook also says band personnel and counsellors from outside the band are being brought in to help those directly affected by this case.
Roberts is due back in court in La Ronge next week.
