Little Pine Woman To Supervise National Chief Vote

A Saskatchewan woman with 16 years experience in band elections has been selected to oversee the vote at the Assembly of First Nations.

 

From July 21st to July 23rd, First Nations leaders will gather in Calgary to elect the next national chief of the AFN.

 

Loretta Pete Lambert of the Little Pine First Nation has been selected as the event’s chief electoral officer.

 

Nominations officially began yesterday and wrap up on June 16th.
