School on the Red Earth First Nation could begin as soon as Monday.
Evacuees from the reserve have returned home after sheltering for the past few days in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
Prince Albert Grand Council spokesman Richard Kent says some water is still standing in low-lying areas and the ground is a little muddy — but things don’t look too bad.
Kent adds water and maintenance crews are poring over anything that may have been impacted by the flooding.
He says most of the residents he’s talked to are happy to be home.
Kent says a truckload of food is expected to arrive in the community sometime today.
