Land Near Dillon Still Up For Grabs

The provincial government pulled in $47.6 million through its most recent land sale.

Ed Dancsok of Energy and Resources says it was the second-best total ever for a sale of petroleum and gas rights in the month of December.

However, Dancsok notes the four available parcels of land situated near Dillon were not sold.

He says the government still isn’t satisfied with the bids they have received for them.

Dancsok adds there may be an issue of market uncertainty, as well.

He says those four parcels of land are the only ones up for grabs in that general area.
