A 16-year-old La Ronge youth accused of stabbing 3 people in a local residence last month has pleaded guilty to 3 charges.

The youth was originally charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault, but that was reduced to one count of aggravated assault and 2 counts of assault with a weapon.

The youth made an appearance in a La Ronge court room yesterday, and has been remanded in custody.

He will be back in court on February 16th for a pre-sentence report.

Three people were taken to hospital for treatment following the stabbings, which happened in the early morning hours of December 13th in a reserve residence.

One of the victims, a 35-year-old man, had to be flown by air ambulance to a hospital in Saskatoon.
