La Ronge Woman Recovering from Stabbing

An early morning stabbing on Canada Day sent a La Ronge woman to hospital.

 

The RCMP reports a 25-year-old woman suffered multiple stab wounds following an assault at about 2 o’clock that morning near the Quarry trailer park.

 

The victim was initially taken to the La Ronge Medical Centre for treatment and later airlifted to the Royal Universtiy Hospital in Saskatoon, where she remains in stable condition.

 

Police have arrested a 21-year-old male in connection to the incident.
