La Ronge RCMP Investigate Possible Predators

RCMP in La Ronge have received two reports of men attempting to lure young children into vehicles.

Authorities say the first incident occurred on August 18th when an older aboriginal man with a beard and shoulder length approached a young girl asking her to get into his truck.

The girl fled into a nearby house.

The second incident occurred on the same day.

This time two eight-year old girls were playing in a neighbourhood park when they were approached by an older male who asked them if they wanted candy.

He is described as being caucasian with longer hair and a beard.

Both men were said to be driving a light blue truck.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
