An official with the Transportation Safety Board says the search for answers into a plane crash near La Ronge has been slow-going.

Peter Hildebrandt says thick brush and swampy-terrain has made getting to the site difficult for investigators who must lug heavy equipment.

He notes some work can be done by helicopter but much of it must occur over land.

He adds investigators may send some parts of the plane away for testing if they need to.

He adds interviews have been done with everyone associated with the incident.
