La Ronge Nurse Honoured By Peers

A health professional in northern Saskatchewan has been awarded a prestigious honour.

Brenda Mishak-Beckman of La Ronge has taken home the Jean Wilson Award for Employer of the Year.

The award was presented to her last night at an awards banquet hosted by the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association.

Beckman serves as the head of primary care for the Mamawetan-Churchill River Regional Health Authority.
