La Ronge Armed Robbery Suspect Identified

The RCMP has released the name of a woman charged in connection to an armed robbery in La Ronge on Canada Day.

22-year-old Jenine Marie Daniels of La Ronge made her first court appearance yesterday.

She is facing 3 charges, including armed robbery and breach of probation.

RCMP report that Daniels entered the Quarry Confectionary on the evening of July 1st armed with a knife and made off with a small amount of cash.

No one was injured during the incident and police say they were able to recover the stolen money.

Daniels’ show cause hearing is set for July 8th.
