La Loche Students Celebrate Building Of House

Twelve students from La Loche have put the finishing touches on a home they built from start to finish.

The house is built up to industry standards, and will now become another source of affordable housing for a community that is in desperate need.

Teacher Joe Brown says the students had a lot of pride in the project, and it showed when the home was vandalized in the early stages.

Social Services Minister Donna Harpauer was on hand in La Loche today to help the students celebrate the conclusion of the project.
