La Loche Receives Fuel Shipment

According to a gas bar manager in La Loche, the community’s fuel shortage is over.
Ron Kisslinger at PR Service in La Loche says a small shipment came in today and he expects another shipment soon.
As of yesterday, La Loche’s gas bar sold the last of its fuel and two other outlets ran out the day before.
The shortage was being blamed on a storm that went through Edmonton in July that affected refinery operations.
