La Loche Murder Suspect Back in Court

The process to determine whether a man accused of murdering a La Loche youth should stand trial begins today.

20-year-old Donny Lemaigre is in court today in La Loche for the start of his preliminary hearing.

Lemaigre is facing a second-degree murder charge in connection to the death of 17-year-old Vincent Lemaigre last summer.

The victim died from injuries received in a late-night fight outside a bar.

Three days have been set aside for this week’s hearing.
