A man from La Loche has been ordered to stand trial for the second-degree murder of a fellow community resident.
On May 19th, 2007, 19-year-old Blair Lemaige was fatally injured in a parking lot in the community.
Police haven’t revealed how the young man died — only that foul play was involved.
21-year-old Elton Herman and two other men were charged shortly afterwards.
A judge recently determined enough evidence exists to send Herman to trial.
A date for the trial still has to be set.
The other two suspects are still before the courts.
