The RCMP say they seized roughly one pound of marijuana in a recent drug raid in La Loche.
According to the Mounties, that’s enough to make 1,000 marijuana cigarettes.
A 48-year-old La Loche resident was arrested in connection with the drug bust — and is making a court appearance in the community today.
Freddy Fontaine is facing several charges, including trafficking in marijuana.
The RCMP say they launched the investigation after receiving information from the public.
This is the latest in a string of drug busts in northwest Saskatchewan.
Last week, Mounties in Beauval announced they had executed their fourth drug raid in five weeks.
