La Loche Gun Fire Results In Two Taken To Hospital

RCMP in La Loche are investigating an incident which sent two people to hospital last night.

RCMP spokeswoman Heather Russell says officers were called to a report of shots fired around 9:30 pm, approximately 15 kilometers North of La Loche.

Russell confirmed two individuals, a male and female, were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries, which do not seem to be life threatening at this point.

She added, a 62 year old man, who had been hunting in the area at the time, was taken into custody.

The investigation is continuing and no charges have been laid at this point.
