More than 30 Korean students are in Regina this week to share their culture.

The students came to the First Nations University of Canada (FNUC) to showcase Korean music, food and martial arts.

They also volunteered in and around the city.

Charles Pratt, president of FNUC, says events like this open people’s eyes to other cultures.

“A lot of times we tend to be culturally blind, and a lot of times we use our own cultures as our reference point. And we tend to stigmatize people sometimes, and that’s not really helpful,” Pratt says.

The students came from Samsung Church in Vancouver.
