A plane carrying 22 passengers from Key Lake and Prince Albert had to make an emergency landing in Saskatoon yesterday.

Chris Tabler, a vice-president with Westwind Aviation, says the twin-engine turbo-prop was about 30 miles out when one of its engines shut down unexpectedly.

Tabler says no one was hurt and the plane landed safely.

He describes the incident as minor, saying the crew declared the emergency in accordance with procedure.
