James Smith Band Elects New Chief

There’s a new chief at the James Smith Cree Nation.

This week the band held an election, which saw incumbent leader Mike Marion defeated.

Replacing Marion as chief is Luther Constant.

Joining him on the band council are Wally Burns, Tom Constant, Robin Moostoos and Malcolm Constant.
