In response to last week’s complaints from Ile-a-la-crosse Mayor Max Morin about better healthcare in the North and the working poor, NDP candidate Anita Jackson is committing support from her party.

Jackson says it’s unacceptable to have northerners, especially seniors, face these types of hardships when trying to access proper health care.

She says northerners are facing a form of discrimination when trying to access adequate health care in the North.

Jackson says the NDP support the accessibility of health care in the North and she will be forcing the issue, if elected.

She says her party will also make seniors a priority in the House of Commons by making housing, health care and living allowance issues known.
