Roughly 250 students from around the world will sleep in tipis tonight at Wanuskewin Heritage Park.

The visitors are mainly science students who are attending this week’s international Biology Olympiad in Saskatoon.

Wanuskewin CEO Sheila Gamble says in addition to the sleepover, the students will also participate in a bison hunt, a mini pow-wow and the building of dreamcatchers.

Gamble says 40 tipis in all have been erected to accommodate the students.

Countries represented include Iran, China and Bulgaria.
