Two inquests into the deaths of men who died while in police custody will be held over the next couple of weeks.

An inquest into the death of Kenneth Chase Wilfred Standingready-McKay, 21, will be held the beginning of November.

Standingready-McKay was shot and killed by police on the White Bear First Nation in June 2008.

Police were responding to a domestic dispute call when they shot Standingready-McKay.

The RCMP said at the time that Standingready-McKay was wielding a knife.

Meanwhile, the inquest into the death of Brett Henry, 31, will begin in Regina on Monday.

Henry died last December at the Regina General Hospital.

At the time, he was being electronically monitored while on house arrest.
