Indian Affairs Minister Tours Canoe Lake Reserve

The Federal Indian Affairs Minister toured the Canoe Lake Cree Nation yesterday.

Jim Prentice helped unveil the community’s new health centre.

Named after longtime FSIN senator Jonas Larivierre, the new facility offers more living space for nurses on site and addiction services.

Officials from neighboring reserves, tribal councils and the FSIN were also in attendance for the grand opening.
