Ile-a-la-Crosse Man Hospitalized After Stabbing

A 40-year-old Buffalo Narrows man has been arrested following a weekend stabbing in Ile-a-la-Crosse.

The RCMP say a 22-year-old man was the victim of an unprovoked attack on the streets of Ile-a-la-Crosse late Saturday evening.

The victim was flown to a Saskatoon hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The unidentified suspect is facing a charge of aggravated assault.

He will make his first court appearance in Ile-a-la-Crosse on October 9th.
