Identity of Moosomin Rollover Victim Released

The RCMP have released the name of the teen killed in a rollover this past weekend on a Battlefords-area reserve.

15-year-old Andrew Swiftwolfe was one of four males in a stolen pickup truck that rolled in a ditch on the Moosomin First Nation early Sunday morning.

He died at the scene, while two other passengers were transported to hospitals in North Battleford and Saskatoon with undetermined injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The RCMP haven’t made a decision regarding possible charges.
