The suspect in an armed robbery in La Ronge earlier this week is still at large.

The RCMP say a man with a concealed face entered the Northland Hotel bar with a knife at around 11:30 Tuesday night, and immediately approached the bartender and demanded money.

The Mounties say he made off with about $1,700, made up mostly of $20 and $50 bills.

He then left the establishment through a back door and headed in a westerly direction.

The suspect is said to Aboriginal, clean-shaven, between 25 and 35 years of age, and between 5’10” and 6′ in height.

The RCMP say he was wearing running shoes, black pants, a dark hooded sweater, and a grey sweater over his head to partially conceal his face.
