Northerners are being reminded they have until the end of the month to file for a one-time home heating grant of $200 from the provincial government’s Energy Share Program.

Saskatchewan Industry and Resources spokesman Jeff Ritter says so far most of the eligible residents and businesses living in the northern portion of the province have applied for the grant.

Ritter says the rebate is intended for everyone in the province using fuel oil or propane as their primary heating source for their principal residence or business.

He says all applications must be in the office or postmarked before midnight March 31st to be eligible.
