Hearing For Alleged Kidnapper Postponed Again

A hearing for a Montreal Lake man accused of kidnapping has once again been delayed.

20-year-old Lindon Bird was to have appeared in a Prince Albert courtroom this morning to answer to charges he forcibly removed an 11-year-old girl from a home in Shellbrook.

However, a judge has called off the proceedings.

The matter will now be heard in a Shellbrook courtroom on January 17th.

Bird also faces accusations he choked the girl.
