Harrison Attacks Merasty On Liberal Policy

Conservative MP Jeremy Harrison is taking aim at his Liberal rival in the election race in Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River.
Harrison feels it’s high time Gary Merasty state his views on positions his party has taken on the gun registry, same-sex marriage and Aboriginal war veterans.
Harrison says voters should know if Merasty backs the Liberals’ $2-billion gun registry and the legalization of same-sex marriage.
Harrison also says the Liberals voted against a Conservative motion calling for the equal compensation of Aboriginal war vets, and wants to know where Merasty stands on that issue.
Harrison adds Merasty can’t “run away” from the Liberals’ record on these issues, and as a Liberal, must accept positions taken by the Liberal Party.
Merasty has not been immediately available for comment.
