Happy Ending To Search For Missing Hunters

Three hunters from Dillon that had been missing since Monday were located alive and well yesterday.
The three men — aged 23, 25 and 32 — went on what was supposed to be a one-day hunting trip on Monday.
Local search efforts by boat were hampered most of this week by very poor weather conditions on Peter Pond Lake.
A search plane operated by CASARA volunteers eventually found the men on the opposite side of the lake, approximately 25 kilometres north of Dillon.
A helicopter was used to bring the men back to safety, as inclement weather did not allow the plane to land where the hunters were spotted.
RCMP say the men were cold and hungry when they were found, but otherwise, they were in good health.
