Hall Lake Woman Survives Ordeal In Bush

There’s a happy ending to the search for a missing woman from Hall Lake.

The Pinehouse RCMP say 38-year-old Josephine Halkett was located at around 3:00 this afternoon.

According to the Mounties, she had been wandering in the bush since going missing early Sunday evening.

They say she was a little dehydrated when searchers found her, but she is otherwise OK.

An organized search effort got underway last night, with roughly 20 searchers scouring the area all night.

Prior to her discovery this afternoon, Halkett had last been seen at a cabin in the Hall Lake area.
