Nineteen students from across the province are in La Ronge today to start the northern portion of this year’s Lieutenant-Governor’s Leadership Forum.
The 10-day program exposes youth with leadership qualities to a variety of experiences designed to develop their leadership potential.
The participants meet leaders in government and the private sector.
Five of the students are from northern Saskatchewan — Joseph Randhile and Sheldon Merriman of La Ronge, Robyn Woodhouse-McKenzie of Air Ronge, Dakota de Caux of La Loche and Jordyn Burnouf of Ile-a-la-Crosse.
The youth have already attended sessions in Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw.
They will finish the week in Stanley Mission.
