FSIN Youth Legislative Assembly Underway

A conference for First Nations youth began today in Prince Albert.

Two delegates from each First Nation in the province are attending the gathering, which runs until the end of this week.

FSIN vice chief Guy Lonechild says the purpose of the meeting is to gain feedback from young men and women about key issues affecting the First Nations community.

Lonechild says comments and suggestions from the youth will be carefully considered.

Assembly of First Nations chief Phil Fontaine is also scheduled to speak to those in attendance on Friday morning.
