FSIN Senator Suspended From Duties

Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations senator Eugene Arcand is in some hot water.

Arcand has been suspended from the FSIN Senate and removed from all federation boards and commissions he was sitting on.

The move was made after allegations surfaced that Arcand campaigned for a candidate in the recent band election at Muskeg Lake – something that is prohibited under the code of conduct governing FSIN senators.

Arcand is a former FSIN vice-chief.
