The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations is inviting everyone to its annual pow wow next weekend in Saskatoon.

FSIN Chief Lawrence Joseph says it’s “inter-tribal” — which means everyone can come out, whether they are First Nations or not.

Joseph says the pow wow, which attracts thousands of people from across North America, is “the best kept secret in the world”.

The pow wow kicks off in Saskatoon on Friday, October 24th and runs until the following Sunday.

The FSIN is hosting another event next week: it’s annual education symposium for Saskatoon high school students.

That takes place on Monday, and features keynote speaker Olympian Waneek Horn-Miller.
