The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations says a “flawed” bid process cost Regina the right to host the 2008 North American Indigenous Games.

The Games council decided over the weekend that Cowichan, B-C will host the Games — not Regina.

FSIN vice chief Delbert Wapass says the federation is very disappointed with the decision.

Wapass says the FSIN is concerned that the the bid process is flawed and needs to be reviewed.

Despite its misgivings about the bid process, Wapass says the FSIN has no intention of boycotting the Games.
