Four Survive Rollover On Saulteaux Reserve

Canada Day turned out to be a scary day for four people on the Saulteaux First Nation.

All four were involved in a single-vehicle rollover on the reserve.

The accident happened at about 2:30 p.m.

WPD Ambulance Operations Supervisor Jason Toovey says three people managed to escape the vehicle on their own, but the fourth person was unable to do so.

Toovey says firefighters used the “jaws of life” to free the trapped person.

All four occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital in North Battleford, in stable condition.
